Today I interviewed Breck Scott. He was an arrogant man. I interviewed him in the blistering cold of Antarctica. During the interview Breck tells me he created a wonder vaccine to protect people from rabies. As he put it, “Fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe.” He manipulated peoples’ fears into making millions of dollars. His manipulation of fear prevented this country from taking steps to actually prevent the infection from coming to America. He created numerous “wonder” drugs to protect people from the infection. He even created an airborne drug, even when the drug wasn’t spread through the air. His arrogance and lack of willingness to admit he had cheated people angered me. If he had not reassured people with his pathetic vaccine, maybe America would have had an earlier Panic. An earlier Panic would have caused the government to act quicker and maybe protect itself from the infection. He spoke how easy it was to pass his drug through the FDA and how he literally gave people false hopes. This interview really made me angry because I have never seen a man so rude and arrogant in my life. Finally, the last thing he told me was that he is hoping that people don’t want a refund!
Bridgetown, Barbados, West Indies Federation

Today I interviewed T. Sean Collins. He worked as a “hired soldier”. He did not consider himself mercenary nor private security personnel. He worked with this firm which offered great benefits. All he wanted to do was protect a rich CEO and live a nice life. He worked for a very powerful and rich man. This man decided to create his own “island.” He only invited famous people whom would bolster his image to his compound and ride the wave of the Panic. Celebrities, athletes, and powerful Television icons stayed with him. This man’s house was well equaled with food, water, protection, and weapons. He also installed a web cam in every room which had a live feed to everyone in the world. Essentially, people could go on the Internet and see the life he and his friends were living. He wanted everyone to see the life he was living a posh life during the Panic. One day, there is an alert telling the people that hundreds of zombies are approaching the house. To their surprise, the people coming toward the house were live people. These people had seen the house on the news and wanted to live in it. They just wanted protection. If this rich man had not publicly advertised his house, they might have been safe from the public. The people stormed the compound and there was a firefight. The security detail in the house attacked the people and the people fired back. T. Sean Collins never fired his weapon because he only signed on to kill zombies, not people. The people did not want money, but to keep safe from the zombies and protect the women and children. I think this act of integrity showed that Mr. Collins did what was right. If the “entertainer” did not attract so much attention to himself, then he might have been safe. I think that Mr. Collins touched on a very interesting topic with that celebrities always need attention and they can’t live without it.
Lhasa, the People's Republic of Tibet

Today I interviewed Nury Televaldi in Lhasa, Tibet. He was a human smuggler when the outbreak occurred in China. He would smuggle people out of the country into countries that were once owned by the Soviet Republic. He was very open about his smuggling business and that he became very wealthy from his smuggling business. He transported people through two ways. His major route was through buses and cars passing the border, but he also participated in air travel. He spoke of people who wanted to go to the Western World because of its acclaimed “miracle cure.” He even gave an example of a couple who went to Paris to escape. The husband had been infected and forbade his wife from calling the authorities. He did this because he was afraid of being sent back. These people were afraid of their own government! If the Chinese government had been open about the infection, then maybe they might have been able to contain it better. The Chinese government scared its people into fleeing and ultimately infecting the entire world. I think that the China was perceived as the “World Superpower” and did not want to show any weakness. Well back to the interview, Nury tells me about how corrupt government officials were. These people were so corrupt that they even helped shetous with the paperwork in exchange for some of the fee. People were more concerned in making money than containing this epidemic. If these people had better morals, then the world might have been spared from this disaster.
